CARRIAGE HOUSE: For more than 20 years, the Carriage House and Courtyard space at Decatur House has provided a beautiful backdrop to countless events, and continues to be recognized as a top-event venue in the DC area. This past November, we started a renovation project to further improve the event spaces at Decatur House. The Carriage House renovations, completed April 30, 2012, maintained the space’s versatility and gracious feel by providing a small increase in capacity and updating the finishes, carpet, lighting and audiovisual systems. The addition of a covered portico has improved the transition between the Carriage House and Courtyard spaces. Capacities: 250 Standing 180 Banquet Style Seating 150 Banquet Style Seating with Dance Floor 200 Theater Style Seating COURTYARD: Surrounded by seasonal plantings & greenery, the bricked Courtyard is a spacious and unexpected gem within a bustling White House neighborhood. Metro: Farragut West (Blue / Orange) and Farragut North (Red) Parking: Several garages are located near the Decatur House. Street parking is extremely limited, especially on weekdays.
