McLean, VA ABOUT FLUFFY THOUGHTS CAKES Fluffy Thoughts Cakes was conceived in the year 2000, when a friend suggested that owner Lara Halabi Stein combine her two passions, art and baking, into a real business. In April of 2010, the Fluffy Thoughts Cakes storefront opened its doors offering cakes, cupcakes, coffee and many other treats for all McLeaners. Fluffy Thoughts Cakes opened a second location at Washington Nationals Stadium in 2013. This location is open during baseball games and concerts, offering baseball-inspired cupcakes, brownies and treats. Since inception, Fluffy Thoughts Cakes has made a name for itself among the best of the best, winning awards, including Wedding Wire’s Brides Choice Awards and Martha Stewart’s Top Pastry Pros list. The bakery, as well as Owner, Lara Halabi Stein have been featured on multiple television and radio outlets, including Food Network’s BEST in SHOW: Cakes. CLASSES Interactive, educational, and fun! We’ll provide the spicy gingerbread and everything necessary for creating a custom, cozy cottage. You’ll provide the creative flair to make a masterpiece that will surely be talked of for many holiday seasons to come. This class is specifically designated for children and their parents, but all ages are welcome! Children under 5 must have an adult present during the class.
