1. What is the capacity at Raspberry Plain?
- The Grand Conservatory: Up to 200 guests, seated comfortably with room for dancing and music.
- The Carriage House: Up to 50 guests.

2. What are the event rental options?
- Friday Exclusive: Allows you to pick your time and be the only event that day. 5 event hours + 2 hour set up + 1 hour breakdown for a total of 8 hours.
- Saturday Exclusive: Allows you to pick your time and be the only event that day. 6 event hours + 2 hour set up + 1 hour for breakdown for a total of 9 hours.
- Sunday Exclusive: Allows you to pick your time and be the only event that day. 5 rental hours + 2 hour set up + 1 hour breakdown for a total of 8 hours.
*All events must end by 11pm.*

The Carriage House, which is used as a spacious day-of Bridal Suite or Rehearsal Dinner space, is available for an additional fee. For the day-of Bridal Suite, the bride and bridesmaids can arrive at 11am to begin festivities and depart at the end of the event.

3. What are the rental rates at Raspberry Plain?
Our rates range from $4,800-$6,900. Please call 703-777-1888 or email [email protected] for rates and availability.

4. Can I schedule a visit and tour Raspberry Plain?
Yes, absolutely! We have our Open House every Saturday from 11am-2pm. Please call or email to schedule an appointment during the week. Please note that Raspberry Plain is closed on Mondays.

5. Are tables and chairs included?
Yes, your event rental includes 5 ft. round tables, gold chiavari chairs for your reception, and white wooden padded chairs for cocktail hour.

6. Are ceremonies permitted at Raspberry Plain?
Yes, and you have quite a few location options depending on which view you love: The Formal Gardens, The North Lawn, The South Lawn with the Mansion backdrop, and The Grand Conservatory. The ceremony fee is $500 and includes white wooden chairs and 1 hour rehearsal.

7. Is Raspberry Plain climate controlled?
Yes, we have air conditioning and heating.

8. Can we bring in our own caterer?
Yes. You are permitted to bring in an outside caterer with approval from Executive Director and a management fee & references. We do have a Preferred Caterers list who are more than happy to create a custom menu for your event and budget.

9. Are we permitted to provide our own alcohol?
Yes, but your caterers must provide the bartender. There is no corkage fee.

10. Is there a dressing room for the bride?
Yes, the Governor's Room with full length antique mirror and privacy for the bridal party is included in your rental. For an additional fee, The Carriage House is a great option for your bridal dressing room and suite with private restroom, full length mirror, and private garden.

11. Is there a dressing room for the groom?
We have three restrooms in the Mansion. The groom also has the option to rent The Carriage House for dressing.

12. Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we are fully wheelchair accessible with ramps and bathroom. Please let us know of you or your guests needs so we may best accommodate on the day of your event.

13. Is wedding coordination available?
Yes, in-house wedding coordination is available by Maria Guerra. Contact [email protected] for more information.

14. Is there a inclement weather plan?
Yes, in case of inclement weather, we can hold the ceremony in the Grand Conservatory. Your guests will then be escorted into the Mansion House for cocktails while your caterers are resetting for the reception.
